Note:
- a wall switch or thermostat (see accessories) can be used to turn the kit on
- the vent in the destination room should be placed as far away from the door as possible
If extra duct, vents or joiners are needed we have a range of heat transfer parts.

About this kit
This is our premium offering for the simple reason that it is a very quiet fan! It has been specifically engineered to operate quietly, the casing is larger and has inbuilt insulation. In terms of performance the fan will provide the same characteristics as the TT Mixflow fan.
TT Silent 200: Only 36db(A) (31 on lower speed)
TT Mixflow 200: 52db(A) (45 on lower speed)
To give you a rough idea of performance relative to duct length view the below table:
No Duct | 6m Duct | 12m Duct | 20m Duct | 30m Duct | 40m Duct | 50m Duct | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
TT Silent 200 | 1020 m3/hr | 900 m3/hr | 750 m3/hr | 700 m3/hr | 600 m3/hr | 520 m3/hr | 500 m3/hr |
*These figures are all based on duct-work of the same diameter as the fan and are approximate calculations. This kit is supplied with 12m of ducting.
In summary this kit is a great solution if you are looking for something quiet and powerful.
Installation
The kits can be installed by the client as it is relatively easy to install. Some handyman skills are required to make holes in the plaster, etc. An electrician is needed to provide power to the fan (or a power point) and a switch, also to install a thermostat if required. The electrician can also install the system at the same time.
The fan is provided with a lead and plug, so it can be plugged in to an available power point which an electrician could install independent of the system installation.
An optional thermostat is available (see accessories below) BUT NOTE THAT AN ELECTRICIAN WILL THEN BE REQUIRED TO INSTALL IT.

Great kit, easy to install. Transfers heat from very hot dining room to rest of the house. Glad we purchased the more silent fans. Yes, we can hear them but no louder than our evaporative air conditioning system.
