A 3 Room Zoning kit commonly purchased with our heat transfer kits to provide the ability to open/close sections. The system consists of:
- 1x Wall Control (4 Zone Touchpad)
- 3x 150mm diameter 24v Motorized zone dampers (Insulated)
- 3x RJ12 Connection cables (10m in length – cables go from damper to wall control)
- 1x Transformer (goes from wall control to powerpoint)
The zoning kit means you have control over three rooms within the heat transfer kit. This kit does not necessarily have to be used with a 3 room heat kit, it could be used with a 4 room kit that requires only 3 rooms to be turned on/off. See below for further details.
3 Room Zoning Kit Installation Example
Note the below is based on a 4 room kit but the same principle applies for your 3 room kit. This kit is very easy to install – the 24v dampers (3 provided) connect to the supplied wall control via RJ12 cable. Within this kit we provide 3x 10m lengths, meaning the damper will need to be within 10m of the wall control. If a longer run is required please contact us. The supplied wall control is suitable for up to 4 zones – this is a fairly standard size wall control that will suit common wall plate size. Finally the transformer connects the wall controller to a powerpoint. See diagram below for a visual representation.
High Quality Dampers – Perfect for Heat Transfer
We have selected the highest quality, all metal construction motorised dampers for this kit. The damper blade does not protrude the barrel housing when fully open – it has fully sealed joints (no rivets or spot welds). The casing is insulated, meaning optimised efficiency when using in the context of a heat transfer kit.
